Ven. Dhammadipa assumed the Abbotcy at US Zen Institute

Ven. Dhammadipa was invited by US Zen Institute to take on the position and duties of its Abbot. The ceremony took place on the final day of the US Zen Youth Summer Camp & 5-Day Meditation Retreat. More than 100 people attended to the ceremony. In addition to the devotees from the Maryland-DC-Virgina tri-state area, many out-of-state followers from Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and South Carolina also partook in this occasion.
